Helping Capable Teens Become Capable Adults

Helping Capable Teens Become Capable AdultsHelping Capable Teens Become Capable AdultsHelping Capable Teens Become Capable Adults

Real-Life Skills. Useful Conversations. No Extra Day of School Required.

Sound Familiar?

You Know They’re Capable. So Why Is Everything So Hard?

Maybe your teen is smart but disorganized.

Maybe confidence has taken a hit.

Maybe every reminder turns into an argument.

Or maybe they want more independence than they’re actually ready to manage.

You can see the potential.

You just don’t want to spend the next few years nagging, rescuing, or wondering what you’re missing.

That’s the space DISCover Greater is built for.

Why DG Feels Different?

Not Another Lecture. Not Another Worksheet.

They need a place to figure out what works for them.

At DISCover Greater, we talk, laugh, problem-solve, practice, and try things in real time. The conversations are practical. The activities have a point. And the goal is always the same: help teens leave a little more confident, capable, and ready to handle what comes next.

And somewhere along the way, teens usually realize they’re actually learning something useful.

For the Teen Who Doesn’t Need More Tutoring — They Need a Better System

Your teen may understand the material.

The struggle is getting started, keeping track of assignments, using time well, following through, and recovering when things get off track.

That’s where STYLE comes in.

STYLE

Support. Systems. Accountability. Real-life practice.

STYLE is designed for middle and high school students who need help managing the work of school — not another hour of someone reteaching the lesson.

Together, we focus on things like:

  • planning the week before it gets away from them
  • breaking assignments into manageable steps
  • keeping track of tests, projects, and deadlines
  • following through without constant parent reminders
  • learning when and how to ask for help
  • building routines that actually work for their brain and schedule
  • practicing the independence they’ll need in high school, college, and beyond

This may be a fit if… Your teen is capable, but…

  1. homework takes forever
  2. assignments are missing even though they “did them”
  3. everything gets done at the last minute
  4. you’re constantly asking, reminding, checking, or rescuing
  5. tutoring helps the subject — but the same problems keep showing up everywhere

Next STYLE Cohort forming this Fall

Fall Break is the interview and placement window for the next STYLE group.

During that time, I’ll meet with interested families, review fit, and make sure each teen has completed the DISC assessment / DISCovery process before the group begins.

Grades: 9–11
Format: Small group + accountability support
