Middle school and early high school can be an interesting time.
Friendships change. Personalities collide.
Confidence grows in some areas while other things still feel uncertain.
Some teens are naturally outgoing.
Others are thoughtful and observant.
Some are intense competitors.
Others prefer to think things through before speaking.
There’s nothing wrong with any of it.
But many teens benefit from better understanding how they are wired—and how others are wired too.
That’s exactly what we explore at DISCover Greater camps.
✔ sometimes feel misunderstood by others
✔ want stronger friendships and better communication
✔ are thoughtful, analytical, intense, or competitive
✔ want more confidence speaking up in groups
✔ are navigating new social dynamics in middle or high school
Every personality style brings its own strengths.
These camps help teens understand those strengths—and learn how to use them in friendships, teamwork, and everyday life.

This summer, DISCover Greater offers two small-group camps designed to help teens build confidence, communication skills, and independence.

Confidence & Communication
For teens who want to better understand themselves and build stronger relationships.
Camp focus:
📅 June Session
Small group experience — limited to 12 students.

Rising Freshman Camp
For rising freshmen who want to feel confident and prepared for the transition to high school.
Camp focus:
📅 July Session
Small group experience — limited to 12 students.

Teens explore different personality styles and begin recognizing their own strengths and tendencies.

Team games and activities show how different personalities approach problem solving and communication.

We talk about real-life situations teens face with friendships, misunderstandings, and group dynamics.

Teens leave with language and strategies they can use immediately in school, friendships, and everyday life.

I’m Liz Vola — founder of DISCover Greater.
Over the years I’ve worked with teens in the classroom, on the field, and through personality coaching, and one thing has become very clear: teens gain confidence quickly when they begin to understand how they’re wired.
Many teens are navigating friendships, expectations, and personality differences without ever being taught how people actually think and communicate.
That’s where this work begins.
DISCover Greater camps are designed to feel like camp — fun, interactive, and social — but underneath the activities is something more powerful: teens are learning the leadership, communication, and self-awareness skills that help them thrive long after camp ends.
My goal is simple: help teens shine — one personality at a time.
DISCover Greater summer camps are intentionally small to create a meaningful experience for every teen.
Each camp is limited to about 12 students, allowing for real conversations, active participation, and personal attention.
