And parents feel it.

This summer, DISCover Greater offers two small-group camps designed to help teens build confidence, communication skills, and independence.

Confidence, communication, and real-world social skills—practiced, not just talked about.
Designed for rising 7th–8th graders navigating middle school friendships and social dynamics.
This 3-day camp is designed to help middle schoolers better understand themselves and how they show up with others.
Through interactive activities, group challenges, and real-life scenarios, teens will learn:
This year’s theme is Metamorphosis and will focus on the kind of growth that happens beneath the surface.
Because real confidence comes from knowing how to respond .... not just what to say.
This is where middle schoolers start to figure out how to show up and that carries into everything that follows.
📅 June Session: June 23–24 | 9:15 AM – 1:00 PM
👥 Small group experience ~ limited to 12 students.
📍 Hosted locally (East Cobb & Roswell areas)

A clear plan for starting high school with confidence, structure, and independence.
For rising 9th graders preparing for the transition to high school.
High school brings new expectations—academically, socially, and personally. This 3-day camp helps rising freshmen step into that transition with a plan.
Through guided activities and real-life scenarios, students will learn:
This isn’t about adding more pressure.
It’s about helping students feel prepared, capable, and ready to take ownership of their next step.
Because starting high school without a plan isn’t confidence, it’s guesswork.
📅 July Session: July 21–23 | 9:15 AM–1:00 PM
👥 Small group experience ~ limited to 12 students.
📍 Hosted locally (East Cobb & Roswell areas)
Middle school and early high school can be an interesting time.
Friendships change. Personalities collide.
Confidence grows in some areas while other things still feel uncertain.
Most growth doesn’t happen in the spotlight.
It happens beneath the surface, when teens learn how they’re wired and how to respond differently.
Some teens are naturally outgoing.
Others are thoughtful and observant.
Some are intense competitors.
Others prefer to think things through before speaking.
There’s nothing wrong with any of it.
But many teens benefit from better understanding how they are wired ... and how others are wired too.
That’s exactly what we practice at DISCover Greater.
✔ sometimes feel misunderstood by others
✔ want stronger friendships and better communication
✔ are thoughtful, analytical, intense, or competitive
✔ want more confidence speaking up in groups
✔ are navigating new social dynamics in middle or high school
Every personality style brings its own strengths.
These camps help teens understand those strengths and practice using them in friendships, teamwork, and everyday life.

Teens identify how they’re wired and start to recognize their strengths, tendencies, and blind spots.

Team activities reveal how different personalities think, communicate, and respond under pressure.

We work through real-life situations: friendships, misunderstandings, and group dynamics—so teens know what to do when it matters.

Teens leave with clear language and simple strategies they can use immediately in school, friendships, and everyday life.

Liz Vola is the co-founder of DISCover Greater and a former middle school teacher who specializes in helping teens understand themselves and build stronger relationships.
Known for her direct, engaging, and practical approach, Liz connects quickly with teens- especially those who don’t always respond to traditional methods.
Her sessions focus on real conversations, real situations, and skills teens can actually use in everyday life.
Teens don’t just listen... they participate, reflect, and practice.
DISCover Greater camps are intentionally small -typically around 12 students- to allow for real conversations, active participation, and personal attention.
Families on the interest list will receive early access before registration opens to the public in May.
👉 If you’re considering this for your teen, now is the time to get on the list.
These camps tend to fill quickly once registration opens.
